Common questions
Can we combine ruins with a cenote swim?
Yes — this is actually my most booked combination. After Chichén Itzá or Ek Balam, we stop at a nearby cenote on the way back. The contrast (ancient stone, crystal water, jungle) is one of the best days Mexico can offer.
Is Chichén Itzá worth it if it gets crowded?
Yes, but only if you arrive early. By 11am the site is so busy it loses its atmosphere. We arrive at 8am, which means you get 2 full hours before the first tour buses. That window is completely different.
What if we want to see more than one site?
Chichén Itzá + Ek Balam in one day is possible with an early start. Uxmal is better as a standalone because it's further. Message me with your dates and I'll plan the right combination.
